Ponthir Cricket Club.

Ponthir Cricket Club is located at The Oaklands Ground, Ponthir.  We have two senior teams (Firsts & Seconds) who play in the Glamorgan & Monmouthshire Cricket League.  We also run an U17's side in conjunction with Monkswood Cricket Club.

We also have an active youth section and run junior teams at U9’s (softball tournaments), U11’s, U13’s and U15’s who play in the relevant sections of the Monmouthshire Building Society Youth Cricket League. We also arrange friendly games at U9’s level to facilitate competitive cricket for as many young players as possible.

All members of the coaching staff are ECB qualified coaches and certified to work with youngsters.

The club has achieved ECB Clubmark accreditation.
