The Club runs teams at Under 15, Under 13, Under 11 and Under 9 levels. Selection for the team matches will usually be done at the weekly practice sessions and players will be notified of their selection then. Whenever possible, a written note will be given to the player confirming that the player has been selected and giving details of meeting/match times and opponents. Alternatively, players may be notified by telephone or can view the details on the clubs website. No other notification will be given and it is, therefore, essential that players tell their parents and that parents find out details of selection for teams. Failing to turn up for a match lets down the Club and the other players.
If a player withdraws from a game for any reason, it is the parents’ responsibility to let the Coach know as soon as possible to enable another player to be selected. Regular withdrawal or failure to turn up without notification can result in the player not being selected for further games as this lets down the Club, coaches and fellow players.
